I have had such a great day. Lane spent the night with Grandma last night since Dave and I went to the Ventura County Music Awards at the Crown Plaza where Dave's band, Strand Quentin won Best Punk Rock Band. We had a great time and got to hang out with a lot of our friends. I slept from 11:30 until 4:15 without waking up... it was nice... Then I picked Lane up from Grandma's early this morning, I missed him and was happy to see his smiling face.
Dave got me a Keurig coffee maker, which is awesome... I am a habitual coffee drinker, now that I have to wake up a couple of times in the night, then wake up early and play with my bundle of joy. I am going to have to be careful not to get too cracked out on coffee, since it's just fun to use it. I am drinking a cup of sleepytime tea as we speak. We went to the Farmer's Market where we got grass-fed steaks for Dave to grill, I got in a nap, then Grandma and Grandpa Kursawe came over for a delicious dinner! What a wonderful day, I love being a mom and love my little man. Lane even got me his own card with his footprint and handprint on it! Thank you Dave Thomas Jr. for giving me the best gift I could ask for, my nugget.
